This is a one-time-use M8x30mm Torx head bolt. As a torque-to-yield (TTY) fastener, it is commonly used for securing critical components like the engine oil cooler and sections of the oil pan where a precise and permanent clamping force is required to prevent leaks.
This bolt permanently deforms (stretches) when torqued to its final angle specification. Attempting to reuse the bolt is highly risky because it will have lost its designed elasticity and strength. This can result in an improper seal, leading to fluid leaks, or the weakened bolt could shear off during re-tightening or engine operation.
