The crankcase breather hose is a component of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system, connecting the oil filter housing to the PCV valve. Its primary function is to channel blow-by gases from the crankcase back into the intake manifold for combustion, thereby reducing emissions and maintaining engine efficiency.
Over time, this hose can become brittle and crack due to engine vibrations and exposure to heat.
