This filter is designed for the DQ500 (0BH) 7-speed wet dual clutch transmission (DSG/S-tronic) used across the VW and Audi model range. Symptoms indicating a filter replacement is required include sluggish or delayed gear engagement, transmission shudder, abnormal shifting behaviour, or contaminated transmission fluid observed during a service. It is strongly recommended to replace this filter at every transmission fluid service interval, typically every 60,000 km under normal driving conditions or more frequently under heavy use. This part is supplied without the transmission pan seal — the appropriate seal or gasket must be sourced separately. Always use the manufacturer-approved DSG transmission fluid (e.g. G 052 529 A2 or equivalent) when performing a service. Torque the transmission sump bolts to approximately 10 Nm. Fitment should be verified against the vehicle’s gearbox code prior to ordering, as multiple transmission variants exist across these platforms. Also replaces: 0BH325183B, 0BH325183A.
